Core courses and electives for the Master's Degree in Software Engineering are listed below. Students must take all six core courses and six electives. If the thesis option is elected, students take four electives plus six thesis credits. Students who wish to take an additional elective must request approval from the program office prior to registration.
CISC 680 Software Engineering (taken in the first term)

CISC 684 Software Testing and Verification
CISC 685 Interaction Design
MMIS 621 Information Systems Project Management
Students may select any six 600-level courses at the school with prefix CISC, MSIT, ISEC, or MMIS (except MMIS 630, 653, 656, 660 or MSIT 660).
