dhsThe Master of Science in Management Information Systems (MMIS) is a 36 credit-hour degree program at Nova Southeastern University's College of Engineering and Computing. Offered online and on-campus in South Florida, the MMIS degree program focuses on the application of information technology to the collection, retention, and dissemination of information for management planning and decision making. This program blends theory and practice into a learning experience that develops skills applicable to complex real-world problems.

The security concentration is recognized by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a result of this recognition federal agencies may sponsor civilian and military personnel to take the school's certified graduate courses. Individuals may apply to take one or more certified information security courses as non-degree students.

Students in the program may be eligible to apply for admission to the Ph.D. in Information Systems before finishing the M.S.; see specific requirements under the Ph.D. program.
